RYLA
What is RYLA?
RYLA is a leadership course that Rotary Clubs put on for young people all around the country.
A Rotary Club have young people apply, interview and the club will select 1-2 to sponsor.
Arthog 2023
I was sponsored by the Formby Rotary Club to participate in RYLA a leadership course in Arthog an Outdoor Education Centre on the coast of Wales.
At Arthog we were sorted into three groups, I was placed in the green group where we came up with our company name "Green Evolution" logo and motto "...with a sense of chaos" to complete challenges earning RYLA Dollars which we needed to buy components to build our raft.
My group worked well throughout the week learning and building on our leadership skills
over a wide range of activities from business games to, hiking, climbing, canoeing and rafting which lead to my team winning RYLA Arthog 2023.
